THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE JUNIOR GOLF ACADEMY
The philosophy of the academy is to provide an atmosphere in which each student will improve his or her own golf game, while meeting other young golfers and having fun.  By the end of the academy, each student will gain greater knowledge regarding each of these topics: etiquette, rules of golf, effective practice habits, putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, full swing concepts, video analysis of his/her swing, ball flight laws, mental management and course management.
Residential students will also take part in various entertainment activities in the evenings.  The academy will include an 18-hole tournament.
PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION
The student:staff ratio will not exceed 6:1.  This ratio ensures that each student will receive individualized attention that will be tailored to his or her specific needs.  Students will be grouped by age and skill level.  Each group and their coach will stay together throughout the week.  Upon completion of the academy, each student will receive a written evaluation designed specifically by his or her instructor and a practice plan. The plan will be the guideline that will enable each student to improve after leaving the academy.
ACADEMY AGES
The academy is open to young men and women from 12 to 18 years of age.
