COGA JUNIOR SHORT GAME SCHOOL
THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE COGA SHORT GAME
The philosophy of The COGA Short Game School is to provide an atmosphere in which competitive golfers will improve their scoring skills. The short game school is designed for players who are committed to raising their game to another level. College coaches and PGA professionals will combine comprehensive instruction within college-level practice sessions. Areas of the short game that will be covered include:

PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION
The student:staff ratio will not exceed 6:1. This ratio ensures that each student will receive individualized attention that will be tailored to his or her specific needs. Upon completion of the short game school, each student will receive a written evaluation designed specifically by his or her instructor and a practice plan. This plan will be the guideline that will enable each student to improve after leaving the short game school.
JUNIOR SHORT GAME SCHOOL AGES
The junior short game school is open to competitive young men and women from 14 to 18 years of age. Students will be grouped together by age and skill level. Each group and their instructor will stay together throughout the intensive 2-day school.

ACADEMY FEES
The fees for each 2-day session of the COGA Junior Short Game School are:
Residential student = $ 400
Commuter student = $ 325
The Ohio Wesleyan golf program has earned a reputation for teaching and producing great short game players. The Central Ohio Golf Academy now offers this instruction, theory, and focus on practice habits. Coach Whithaus and his staff of college coaches and PGA professionals will use the excellent facilities at Oakhaven Golf Club to ensure that each student acquires the knowledge and understanding to take his or her golf game to the next level.
The Ohio Wesleyan golf program has a tradition of being one of the premier Division III programs in the country. Some highlights of the program include:

ABOUT THE FACILITIES
Residential students will be housed in the dormitories on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University. The residential students will also be served breakfast and dinner on the Ohio Wesleyan campus. Lunch will be provided each day at Oakhaven for all students. The academy will take place at Oakhaven Golf Club, which is located just a few minutes from the Ohio Wesleyan campus. Oakhaven boasts one of the finest practice facilities in Ohio. These facilities consist of 40 covered and lighted tees, grass tees, indoor putting area, several private hitting areas and four separate practice greens which provide the ideal areas for putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. Oakhaven's short range area has 17
target areas within 120 yards. The students will also have opportunities to play the
18-hole championship golf course at Oakhaven.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Information regarding topics such as registration, awards ceremony, departures, what to bring, etc. will be sent upon receipt of your registration form and deposit.
REFUNDS
Payment will be refunded if the student cannot attend the academy for medical reasons and the academy is notified at least two weeks prior to the first day of the academy. NO refunds will be made if a student is forced to leave due to any medical reason. In such a case, the money will be applied to next year's academy fees. NO refunds of any kind will be issued for dismissal due to disciplinary reasons.
