"If you are serious about your game, the COGA Camp is for you. Coach Whithaus and staff do an excellent job running a week long comprehensive golf camp. When finished with this camp, the player will have a complete understanding on how and what to practice. This Camp is excellent preparation for high school and college. Coach Whithaus has the best personality with regard to making the camp fun and informative. His record with Ohio Wesleyan speaks for itself. He gets the most out of his players' talent. Coach Whithaus is a genius with regards to coaching the short game and putting players in game management situations. Coach Whithaus has an intense desire to get the best out of those that come in contact with him, but he has a sense of humor that allows the player to be at ease. They have a great time getting to know each other and the counselors in the dorms, but love to be on the golf course learning new aspects of the game and what it takes to succeed. The facilities are great and really lend themselves to a wide variety of drills, fun activities, games, and opportunities to enjoy the game of golf. Even as a counselor, I always come home with at least one exciting new drill to work on that will improve to my game. As a top collegiate athlete, if I am still learning from the great instruction at this camp, I can only imagine how much the kids are learning! The instructors are easy going and fun, but really know their stuff. They put in long hard days to make the camp both fun and beneficial to the kids. They do manage to squeeze some fun into the schedule too. After working hard on the golf course, the counselors often take the kids to do a fun activity in the evenings. Sometimes it is bowling, a movie, ice cream, or playing basketball on campus, but no matter the activity, it's guaranteed that everyone has a good time."
